This was in last year's case, and I got myself ready to hate it, but I loved it. So it's back for another taste.
Ratebeer.com says, "Yes, the bottle calls it a hefeweizen. The beer, however, is brewed with a (fairly hefty) portion of lemongrass, which contributes a significant aroma and flavor. Thus we have deemed it a Spice/herb/vegetable and not a German Hefeweizen, which should be free from adjuncts (other than hops)." |
